Further accolade for Metzler Equities: Ranked as second best equity research institution in Börsen-Zeitung awards

In the AktienAnalystenAward presented by the Börsen-Zeitung financial newspaper Metzler Equities was once again singled out as one of the best addresses for German equities, ranking second in this year's awards. The bank gained second place in the overall ranking as "best research institute", which is based on a good performance in the various categories. For its successful large cap recommendations, Metzler Equities gained first place overall. Its successful recommendations for chemicals sector obtained first place in this category. The team also achieved rankings among the leaders for its recommendations on the automotive, consumer goods and retail sectors. In the German small and mid-caps category, Metzler ranked fifth overall.

In addition, Metzler secured third place for the consistently good performance of its equity analysis. This award is based on the awards made for the past five years.

The Börsen-Zeitung ranking is based on an evaluation by the Swiss Financial Analysts Association of the equity recommendations and profit estimates of 37 research institutes in 2010.
